We invite you to learn more about our Christian Preschool. We believe in Sowing Seeds of Faith in the hearts of our preschoolers. Although Hillside Preschool comes with a long history of preschool excellence after celebrating 40 years in our community, it also comes with a "New Fresh Vision" to meet the needs of our growing families. It is our mission to provide and create a Christ-Centered Education and atmosphere for all of our students. It is also very important for us to share a quality education to prepare our students for the next steps of their formal education. Every child deserves to be in a preschool that creates a loving and caring environment that nurtures and stimulates them spiritually, emotionally, physically and intellectually. At Hillside we not only welcome our students into our school family but also welcome the whole family too.

We serve children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 6 years old. Each classroom is specifically designed to meet the needs of each age group. Each class will appropriately incorporate language arts, math, science, social studies, reading, writing, cooking, dramatic play, sign language, Spanish, creative arts, free play, learning centers, exercise and music. We meet each child where they are and encourage them to grow in every area!

Hillside is very selective of their teaching staff. Our teachers are experienced, certified Early Childhood teachers. Each teacher and teacher assistant is carefully placed in the age group they are gifted to teach. Our staff and school meet and exceed the requirements through the State of New Jersey. Each staff member has been finger-printed; background checked and exceeds mandated training hours. The protection of your children is of the utmost importance to us. Our school has a state of the art monitor system which allows us to view access of all doors in our building and an intercom system that allows us to communicate with our classrooms. Our preschool classrooms are spacious, sunny and cheerful! Hillside's Multi-Purpose Room is over 4,650 square feet providing a quality and safe space for free play time. Our playground is large and spacious and is adjacent to the Educational Wing. The children have a beautiful children's garden to learn and explore about the beauty of God's creation.
